Trisquel（官方称呼为Trisquel GNU/Linux）是基于Ubuntu的Linux作业系统。

该计划旨在建成一个完全由自由软体构造而不含任何专有软体及专有韧体，使用Linux-libre——一个清除所有非自由代码（二进位blob）Linux核心的，与Ubuntu一样友善易用的GNU/Linux作业系统。[3]Trisquel依赖于使用者的捐款。[4]它的标志是一个蓝色三曲枝图。[5]

版本

共有4种版本安装镜像及1个原始码镜像。

Trisquel

此为标准版本，包含GNOME桌面环境，及51种语言的语言套件。

Trisquel Mini

Trisquel Mini是主线Trisquel的替代版本，用于上网本及古旧机器。

它使用低资源需求的LXDE及轻量的GTK+、X Window System，以替代GNOME和Qt/KDE应用程式。[6]包含英语和西班牙语的语言包。

Trisquel Sugar TOAST

此版本采用Sugar学习桌面环境，用于儿童电脑。

NetInstall

此为基于文字介面的网路安装方式，只需一个较小的CD镜像。

Sources DVD

Trisquel的全部原始码封装在此镜像中可供下载。

历史

该计划始于2004年，由维戈大学赞助教育软体的加利西亚语支援，后于2005年4月由GNU计划创办人理查·斯托曼作为特别来宾官方支援。[7]据计划负责人Rubén Rodríguez言，奥伦塞省移民的南非及墨西哥社群对加利西亚语的支援有兴趣。[8]

2008年12月左右，Trisquel包含于自由软体基金会，见自由软体基金会批准的Linux发行版。[9]

自第六版开始的所有Trisquel版本均基于Ubuntu长期支援版本[31]。

当前的版本都包括这些软体：

  • 称为"Abrowser"的Firefox衍生版本，其不会建议安装非自由的附加元件，也不包含有商标疑虑的艺术品与名称。Abrowser会被重新命名是因为Mozilla 当时的商标政策不允许对其商标在未经同意的状况下进行修改[32]。
  • 因为Adobe Flash Player是专有软体，所以Trisquel并不会提供它，取而代之的是提供Gnash SWF检视器[33]。
