苏菲·卡尔（法语：Sophie Calle；1953年10月9日－）是一位法国作家、摄影师、装置艺术家和观念艺术家。卡尔的作品杰出之处在于使用随心所欲受限制的摄影场景，唤起了1960年代名为「Oulipo」的法国文学运动。她的作品经常性的描述出人类的脆弱，和身份与私密性的检视。她被公认为是一个以侦探式的方式去追踪陌生人和调查他们的私密生活。她的摄影作品常常包含了一组她自己撰写的文本。

苏菲．卡尔从2005年开始在瑞士Saas-Fee的欧洲高等学院教授电影与摄影术。她在圣地牙哥的加州大学视觉艺术系讲课。[3]她也在加州乌克兰的密尔斯学院教书过。

卡尔的艺术作品曾于巴黎庞毕度中心[1]、俄罗斯冬宫博物馆[4]、巴黎犹太艺术与历史博物馆[5]、纽约的Paula Cooper画廊、比利时布鲁塞尔皇家美术馆、巴西圣保罗的SESC Pompeia、巴西的萨尔瓦多现代美术馆、伦敦的Whitechapel画廊[1]和荷兰的De Pont当代艺术馆[6]展览。她于2007年代表法国参加威尼斯双年展。[1]

2017年她以出版品《My All》（Actes Sud, 2016）入围德国证交所摄影奖。[7][8]

批判分析

克莉斯汀·马歇尔描述卡尔的作品是透过融合自身的生活经验以「第一人称艺术家」的方式转化为艺术作品对于后结构主义当中「作者已死」概念的对抗，在这个方式当中，重新定义了作者的概念。[9]

Angelique Chrisafis，在卫报中称呼她为「the Marcel Duchamp of emotional dirty laundry」。[10]
